Pink

Pink was born Alecia Moore on September 8, 1979, in Doylestown, PA (near Philadelphia). She received her nickname as a child, many years before she dyed her hair that color!

Pink grew up in a musical family, and by 13 was hanging out at Philadelphia clubs, dancing and performing as a back-up singer for the local hip-hop group Schoolz of Thought. She started writing her own songs at age 14!

Pink now has a Chart Topping hit, "So What", which can be found on her new album Fun House. The album is set to be released on October 28th!
